Aptitude is a new APT frontend which aims to test the limits of what an APT frontend can do. Currently it supports, among other things, multiple simultaneous package-selection screens, arbitrary sorting and grouping of packages, configurable column-formatted display, a tree-structured organization, online viewing of changelogs, infinite undo, and more.
